What the sage\u00a0plants need to grow well is just a\u00a0well-drained\u00a0or\u00a0sandy soil.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Marigold<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">These bright annuals are well known as plant protectors in\u00a0most\u00a0veggie\u00a0gardens, as their strong aroma repels insects.
