‘When I design lamps, I want them to bring warmth and life to a room,’ Ilse says. ‘The challenge is to capture a classic’s qualities \u2013 the right proportions, choice of materials and shade, and a timelessness that makes the lamp always feel relevant. My inspiration for HALGATT comes from how we live our lives. They have a versatility that supports the decor rather than dominating it \u2013 and are just as suitable in the living room<\/a> as in a dining room<\/a>, a bedroom<\/a> or a work area.’<\/p>\n

Each feels tactile to touch, with a woven linen shade and a smooth glazed ceramic base, featuring intentional imperfections designed to feel luxurious yet lived-in. Both unmistakably carry the signature of Ilse, at a price that puts it within reach.’<\/p>\n

‘In my view, good interiors are well-lived-in spaces because they reflect and support the people who live there,’ says Ilse. ‘But without them being lit, the lamps will continue to be equally aesthetically appealing because they are designed so beautifully.’<\/p>\n
